Kiawah Island

Kiawah Island is known for its prestigious golf courses, uniquely custom built home estates and spectacular surrounds. Operated largely as a gated beach and golf resort, you will find spacious villas, luxury homes, prestine beaches, world acclaimed championship golf courses, five star dining and wonderful boutiques.  Whether a full time resident or snow bird, you will find plenty of activities to keep you occupied such as hiking, boating, swimming, bird-watching, fishing, or just relax to your heart’s content. Kiawah Island is certainly in a league of its own.

Kiawah Island is widely hailed as one of the premier golf destinations on the East Coast and was recently host to the PGA Championship.  If you were lucky enough to get close to the island, you may have witnessed the final putt to win the championship or Tiger Wood's multi-million dollar yacht docked in Bohicket Marina.  Several oceanside greens are considered some of the most expensive pieces of real estate, land wise, in the country!

The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission operates a public park, Beachwalker County Park, on the island.  In 2013, Forbes ranked the park's beach as the 10th best in the United States. You do not need to be a resident or guest of Kiawah Island to enjoy this park as the entrance is just outside the gates of Kiawah Island and is open to the public for a nominal fee or free with an annual County Park Pass.
